Jewel Healthcare provides temporary housing for people with disabilities, allowing them to remain connected to the community. We also provide respite care to give your loved ones or primary caregivers a break. Our short-term accommodation and/or respite care have no minimum duration.

The unexpected happens from time to time. You experience a sudden change in your circumstances; a crisis occurs; you develop a serious illness that necessitates hospitalisation; your carer requires respite or is temporarily unable to care for you. It is critical to have access to safe housing where you can receive the care you require during these times.
Jewel Healthcare provides temporary housing for people with disabilities, allowing them to remain connected to the community rather than facing a lengthy hospital stay or premature placement in a nursing home.
We provide immediate respite and short-term accommodation options including individual and group housing choices. Respite care can also be provided in the comfort of your home.
Our experienced support workers will provide assistance with your daily needs whether you choose to stay in your home or in our housing.
Short Term Accommodation Services Type.
This type of accommodation is known as Short Term Accommodation under the NDIS. Our STA services are able to support a wide range of needs, from behavioural issues to personal care, clinical support, 24/7 care and meeting complex support needs. We offer:
- Fresh and nutritious meals provided throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon tea
- All needs met with round the clock personal care and support
- Allied health therapists, including assist with access to Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists
- Assist with access to counselling and clinical psychology services
